AEROSPACE REACHES NEW HEIGHTS

Boeing is doubling its workforce at the Port. It’s sustaining and supporting military and commercial aircraft.
FA-18
Among its projects, Boeing’s team at the Port is modernizing the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 fleet.

StandardAero is similarly adding hundreds of jobs sustaining and modernizing aircraft engines.

Knight Aerospace is expanding here — building state-of-the-art modular units that increase aircraft functionality.

Top cyber names have launched operations and grown here in recent months:

CNF Technologies ribbon cutting
In July, San Antonio-based CNF Technologies was the latest company to launch a new cyber lab at the Port, adding nearly 100 new jobs.

Plus One Robotics
Plus One Robotics (above) is creating industrial robots that can “see” and “learn” — opening new markets and opportunities.

Project Tech
Completed in 2018, Project Tech Building 1 was quickly leased to capacity in 2019 with users including Lockheed Martin, CACI / LGS Labs, and CNF Technologies.

StandardAero engine maintenance repair and overhaul
StandardAero marks its twentieth anniversary at the Port this year. It is one of the world’s leading aerospace companies. The firm has made substantial investments to its facility spanning over 700,000 square-feet, where it is adding military and commercial engine projects.

Drainage project
A massive drainage channel is under construction that will connect existing stormwater detention infrastructure and enable the development of hundreds of acres at the Port for upcoming facilities that will be home to new jobs. This is one of the largest projects under the City’s 2017-2022 Bond.

Boeing San Antonio
Boeing modernized facilities throughout its 168-acre campus, which includes over one-million square feet of highly specialized hangars. The company is doubling its workforce.

Cybersecurity firms moving to San Antonio
In the past two years, premier names such as Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Salient CRGT, CACI / LGS Labs, IPSecure, CNF Technologies and IOMAXIS have located operations at the Port or have significantly grown their existing spaces on our campus. They are establishing highly specialized facilities where hundreds of employees are supporting military and commercial information security needs.

Gateway Residences at Port San Antonio
The Port, in partnership with Granite Redevelopment, is upgrading 374 townhomes at the Gateway Residences apartments —available to the entire community. The units are very quickly being leased-up.
