INTERSECTION CLOSURE AT 36TH STREET AND BILLY MITCHELL BLVD.
Starting in late February, the west side of the intersection at 36th St. and Billy Mitchell Blvd. will be closed for several months as the first part of motorist, pedestrian and cyclist safety improvements across the Port campus takes place.
For the duration of construction, 36th Street from just north of Billy Mitchell Blvd. to England Dr. is reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction.
While improvements are underway, employees and guests are encouraged to use alternate routes to and from the main Port campus to relieve congestion on 36th Street. (Please note that Gen. McMullen Dr. is closed to heavy multi-axle trucks; Gen. Hudnell Dr. is open to all types of vehicles).
This project is led by the City of San Antonio's Public Works Department. See here for more information.

FRANK LUKE DR.
A section of Frank Luke Dr. has now been permanently closed, as indicated on the map. This will allow for the extension of a taxiway from Kelly Field and construction of a planned fixed-based operator (FBO)/vertiport facility immediately to the east of the road.
The corresponding sections of the northbound and southbound Frank Luke Dr. that remain open now dead-end at two cul-de-sacs. All Port tenants along Frank Luke Dr. continue to have access to their facilities.
