Consolidated Facilities – Site Clearing Project; Invitation for Bids

The Port plans to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) seeking proposals from firms/teams for site clearing and preparation for future taxiway A-1 extension, apron, and consolidated facilities building and auto parking area construction. Site clearing will consist of removal of existing pavement and utilities onsite. Site preparation will consist of mass grading, storm trunk installation, and utility relocation.

The Port is committed to providing contracting opportunities to all businesses including local and small, minority, women and veteran owned business.  We recommend that vendors register with the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA).  Once registered, businesses are connected to more bid opportunities with other members of the SCTRCA organization.

Procurement Process

Port San Antonio is a defense base development authority established by the City of San Antonio as authorized under Texas Law. The Port is a separate political subdivision of the State.

The Port may utilize various procurement transactions that are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and that may be allowable by any applicable funding sources.
